Yes, it's true. Your installed product takes more than double size on your hard drive.
You can free some space on your "C" drive, which you might need.
How?
Install Manager is doing this thing, & not let you know.
Just like (.exe) file format, you install "exe" file & have a copy of itself.
Install Manager installs a products & also have copy of it's archive.
When you uninstall any product threw install manager, a copy of the product is ready to install.
You can automatically free some space, by checking "Delete Package Once Installed" at bottom of "Ready to install" tab in Install Manager. But it's not recommended.
You can also delete or move product archive manually.
The Path of installed archive.
C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\Downloads
To view & change default path, open install manager & click on settings icon on top right side.
